For more events see Timeline Anakin Skywalker duelled Count Dooku on Naboo and was captured. A prisoner exchange took place and Anakin was reunited with Padmé Amidala and the Gungans only for Grievous to be returned to Dooku in exchange.
Prelude[]
Grievous was captured by the Gungans and Padmé Amidala. Anakin chased Rish Loo who was trying to escape and Count Dooku was told by Darth Sidious that Grievous was needed for the war and that he needed to capture Skywalker and exchange the prisoners.
The Duel[]
Dooku led Skywalker into a trap as he follwed Rish Loo right to him. Dooku ended Rish Loo's life, telling the Gungan that he was a fool. Anakin and Dooku fought briefly and then Skywalker was able to hold off four Magnaguards and Dooku for a while until he lost his lightsaber and even then used the force to push the droids away. Dooku used his force powers to knock the Jedi unconcious and took him captive.
Aftermath[]
After a hard decision, Padmé decided to submit to Dooku's terms and switch Grievous for Anakin and the Separatist gave Skywalker back along with his lightsaber while Grievous was returned to the Separatist.
