imperial Citadel, also known as Citadel Station, was a imperial security prison located on the planet on Lola Sayu.
History[]

Creation and early history[]
It was originally created by the Old Republic and the Jedi Order during the war with the Sith Order as a prison to hold any Sith or Jedi that fell to the dark side of the force.
Under Separatist Control[]
Years later, after the prison was abandoned by the Republic, the Confederacy of Independent Systems took control of the Citadel. During this time, the Separatists managed to arrest Jedi Master Even Piell and the clone officers that were under his command and placed them in the Citadel, which was under the command of Separatist Officer Osi Sobeck.
Mission to infiltrate the Citadel[]
Following this event, the Jedi Order would conduct a plan to rescue Master Even, who had secret information on a secret hyperspace route. The Jedi would then assemble a strike team of Jedi Knights, Clone Troopers, and reprogrammed battle droids to infiltrate the Citadel and rescue Even Piell.
A Separatist holdout[]
After the Clone Wars, a droid lead a Separatist holdout at the Citadel, leading a garrison of battle droids. However, the droid was malfunctioning, and it was following it last directive from the war, adjusting its programming for a wider target range. This made it target all Force-sensitives. At one point, the droid kidnapped a Force-sensitive child and imprisoned them at the Citadel.
