Jungle rancors were an subspecies of rancor that lived on the jungle planet of Felucia. A pair of these rancors were spotted by Jedi Generals Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Ahsoka Tano after they crash landed on the jungle planet following a skirmish with an fighter squadron of Separatist vulture droids.
