Supreme Chancellor Finis Valorum is a Human Male Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Republic in Office prior to the Clone Wars. He was a Senator for Lyott Sector of Coruscant and was elected Supreme Chancellor and a well meaning one and A well-meaning civil servant whose chancellorship was hampered by corruption in the Senate and bureaucratic snarls, Valorum secretly turned to the Jedi Knights for help breaking the Trade Federation's blockade of Naboo. But Valorum was betrayed by Naboo's Senator Palpatine, who maneuvered Queen Amidala into asking the Senate for a no-confidence vote in the Supreme Chancellor's leadership. A stunned Valorum was removed from office in favor of Palpatine.
He was elected Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Senate and was a well-meaning as he was the last democratic Chancellor and then the dictator Palpatine became Chancellor.
Blockade of NabooEdit
During the Blockade of Naboo Queen Amidala to pleed her case of the Trade Federation Blockade and Invasion he was a strong supporter and despite all he did But Valorum was betrayed by Naboo's Senator Palpatine, who maneuvered Queen Amidala into asking the Senate for a no-confidence vote in the Supreme Chancellor's leadership. Valorum was then removed from office and succeed by Palpatine.
Valorum was visited by Yoda at his estate on Coruscant about a file he sealed on Sifo Dyas. He sent Sifo Dyas to negotiates with piyxes that led into the Jedi Masters death.

Chancellor Finis Valorum was portrayed by Terence Stamp in Episode One The Phantom Menace. He was voiced by Ian Ruskin in Star Wars: The Clone Wars series.
