For more events see Timeline The mission took place when members of the rebellion discovered that Thrawn was close to detecting Agent Kallus's identity as "Fulcrum" and sent Ezra Bridger, AP-5 and Chopper to get him out.
The Mission[]
Ezra flew his ship up to the light cruiser with TIE fighters in pursuit and was captured on purpose. Kallus recognised him as soon as the helmet was removed and was shocked. As soon as they were alone in a cell Kallus questioned Ezra who told him that they were getting him out. Feeling he had no choice, Kallus agreed to go with Ezra but Lieutenant Yogar Lyste opened the door. Ezra did a great job pretending that Kallus had been interrogating him and Lyste told Kallus that they were going to meet Thrawn on his ship. Ezra was transferred to the Chimaera as a prisoner which wasn't part of the plan and the pickup team consisting of Rex and Kanan were forced to delay and wait for Chopper to get them codes. During all this, Thrawn and Colonel Yularen were running an investigation to uncover "Fulcrum" and questioned Kallus, Yogar Lyste and Kassius Konstantine having already questioned many Imperials such as Brom Titus and Brunson. Kallus told Lyste to watch governor Pryce as he claimed ISB was suspecting her and he went to follow her. Kallus stole Lyste's code cylinder and used it to open Ezra's cell. The pair left just before Thrawn and Yularen arrived and since Kallus had used Lyste's code the data told them Lyste had been the last one in the room. Kallus and Ezra made their way to Thrawn's office to delete Atollon from his planets and receive their needed codes. They successfully entered, Ezra disguised as an Imperial Officer. They also successfully deleted the planet and replaced it with another one before Thrawn entered with a pair of security stormtroopers. Kallus managed to reprogram the Sentry Droids to attack Thrawn without being seen but Ezra was sighted by Thrawn as he left, luckily looking like Lyste to the Grand Admiral. Yularen sent Pryce to the hangar, guessing their escape intentions and she arrested the two stormtroopers who exited the Imperial Shuttle that had just landed. One of them attempted to mind trick her into letting them go but she ordered him shot before he could finish. The stormtrooper which was Kanan Jarrus was stunned straight away and the other one who was Rex fought Pryce as Ezra, Kallus and the droids arrived. Lyste shot Pryce from behind, believing he had caught her in the act of attacking Stormtroopers and Agent Kallus tackled Lyste. Ezra and the droids entered the ship with Kanan and Rex but Kallus told Ezra there had been a slight change of plans as he had "captured fulcrum".
Aftermath[]
Unknown to Kallus and the rebels, Thrawn was aware that Kallus was the real fulcrum and now had proof. He told Yularen all of these things afterwards and explained that he was going to use Kallus in his plans against the rebels.
