The mission took place during the Invasion of Naboo when Jedi Qui-Gon Jinn and his padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi were sent to try diplomatically speaking with the leaders of the Trade Federation on the Droid Control Ship over Naboo. When TC-14 told Nute Gunray that the diplomats were Jedi, the Viceroy ordered them killed and sent a squad of Security Droids. The droids were reduced to scrap when the Jedi attacked them. They almost made it into the room where the Neimoidian leaders were hiding but were forced to hide when Rune Haako sent in Droidekas. The Jedi escaped in one of the invasion ships.
