The Ninth Sister-formerly Masana Tide-was a female Dowutin who formerly went by Masana Tide. She was one of the Inquisitors of the Galactic Empire during the Jedi Purge.

Biography[]

Recruitment[]

The Ninth Sister was recruited by Emperor Palpatine, who started the Inquisitorius Program. When Darth Vader met The Grand Inquisitor, He and Palpatine, showed Vader the members of the program. The Ninth Sister was amongst them. Vader walked in, ignited his saber, and started severing the Inquisitorius members limbs. The Ninth Sister lost her right eye, and her right arm. Vader told the Grand Inquisitor that pain must be the first lesson, and that the Ninth Sister would never forget her loss, as he never forgot the loss of his right arm, legs, and left arm. Those created pain, and pain turned into anger, and anger turned into hate, and hate taps into the Dark Side. Some however, cower of it, the los turns into pain, the pain turns into sorrow, and the force user will be killed.

To hunt a Jedi[]

The Ninth Sister, and several others have been in the program for a very long time. Even after the death of the Grand Inquisitor. The Ninth Sister became powerful, but also foolish, but was able to cover it up. She often did not do her duties to Darth Vader, as she did remember her loss. On Mon Cala, a water world that was home to the Mon Calamari and the Quarrin. The 6th Brother, slices off her right leg, that way he could escape the Purge Troopers that were mind tricked by Ferren Barr ro Execute Order 66. The Ninth Sister escaped, and lived, as she would continue to serve the Empire, and try at becoming a Sith.

The Ninth Sister joined the Second Sister in traveling to Bracca, where they searched for Jedi Padawan Cal Kestis. When Kestis revealed himself in a vain attempt to save his friend Prauf, the Second Sister Force pushed him to the Ninth Sister's grasp, and she dropped him off the edge of a cliff. This proved a mistake, as Kestis-aided by the crew of the Mantis-managed to escape the planet and the pair of Inquisitors. The two Sisters would follow Kestis' trail to Kashyyyk, though the Ninth Sister-as she reported to the Grand Inquisitor-felt that Kestis would not return there.

She proved mistaken, and intercepted Kestis on his way to the Origin Tree. Her attack was interrupted when the Shyyyo Bird deliberately collided with her ship, but she later confronted Kestis in lightsaber combat at the crown of the tree. Despite her greater size, Kestis managed to cut off her right hand, but she persisted in her attack. Kestis was thus forced to Force push her out of the tree, presumably killing her.

Weapons[]

The Ninth Sister wielded lightsaber similar to that used by other members of the Inquisitorius.

Vehicles[]

Where several Inquisitors were shown to travel in personal starfighters, such as the TIE Advanced v1 or TIE/IN interceptor, the Ninth Sister traveled in a TIE/rp Reaper attack lander.
