The rescue of Mon Mothma took place when the Gold Squadron was on the run from the Galactic Empire after Senator Mothma made a treasonous speech to the Imperial Senate. Gold Squadron and Mothma met up with the Lothal Rebels as they destroyed an EXD-9 infiltrator droid. The Ghost docked with the Chandrila Mistress and when the Empire arrived they were all forced to flee aboard the rebel frieghter, abandoning Mothma's ship. Ezra and Gold Squadron in Y-wing starfighters, bomb the light cruiser and the rebel ships enter hyperspace.
